A catch-all email mailbox receives messages sent to nonexistent email addresses under the same domain. For example, an email message sent to the misspelled suport@domain.com will go to support@domain.com in case the catch-all feature has been activated for the latter. In this way, you can receive email messages from pals or clients who may have sent a message to your email address with a spelling error or to an outdated one, which they may still have, but you have already deleted. Just one mailbox per domain can be a catch-all one and email forwarding cannot be enabled for such a mailbox. This is so because of the fact that at some point you may begin receiving spam email messages in the catch-all mailbox and the forwarding limitation means that the spam will not be delivered to a third-party mailbox.

Catch-all Emails in Website Hosting

You will be able to create a catch-all e-mailbox without any difficulty in case you’ve got a website hosting plan with us. The Email Manager tool in our in-house built Hepsia hosting Control Panel is full-featured, yet stunningly user-friendly, and it will allow you to enable various features, including the catch-all one, with only a few clicks of the mouse. All the email addresses that you’ve got will be listed in alphabetical order in this section and to the right of each one you will find a small-size "Catch-all" symbol. Clicking on it once will enable the feature, clicking it twice will disable it. Since you can have just one such mailbox per domain, our system will warn you if you already have another one with this option enabled or if you have active email forwarding.
